Ingredients:

Preparation:

Grind or mash to a smooth paste.
Mix in jaggery, cardamom powder, and optional nutmeg and saffron.
Prepare the Dough:
Mix whole wheat flour with water and knead it into a soft dough.
Let it rest for at least 30 minutes
Assemble and Cook:
Roll out small portions of dough into thin circles.
Place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
Cook on a tawa (griddle) over medium heat, applying ghee on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.
